Kamikoto Knives: As Seen on Netflix’s “The Chef Show.”

We at Kamikoto are deeply humbled by our ever-growing community, and pride ourselves in providing everyone with products of the upmost quality and a seamless customer experience.

Since our origin, we have been both dedicated and passionate about sharing our love for food and cooking with our community and have something that we are honored to share with you.

Just last week, we saw something on Netflix’s The Chef Show that we are beyond humbled about.

The Chef Show is a cooking show featuring Chef Roy Choi and movie director Jon Favreau. Throughout the show Chef Roy and Favreau travel around the world and celebrate a variety of flavours, cultures and people that are passionate about cooking.

What we are eager to share with you is that while watching the show, our colleague noticed that they were using Kamikoto Knives during the episode titled Pasta a la Raimi. 

In this episode, Chef Roy and Favreau are making a homemade pasta alongside director Sam Raimi with ingredients from his garden.

Throughout the episode, Favreau uses our Kanpeki Knife Set multiple times and at one point is shown finely chopping garlic with our Nakiri vegetable knife, which earned praise from Raimi.

We were honored to see our knives being used by these people, and for their showcase on Netflix’s The Chef Show.
