We pride ourselves in being masters of tradition and we uphold this by washing our knives in a traditional way. It is prudent that Kamikoto Knives are carefully hand-washed, as other ways of washing can cause damage to both the blade or handle of the knife.
Furthermore, Kamikoto Knives should also be washed and cared for after every use, using a mild soap and a soft clean towel.
Also, it is important to pair your knives with the best possible accessories. Oftentimes, the best cutting boards to use with Kamikoto Knives are made of wood and we recommend using a Japanese whetstone for sharpening.
